Module Library
Access Screen
In
UncertaintyAnalyzer, a system is treated as a series of modules. Each
module is characterized by a collection of module parameters,
parameter values, uncertainties, options, descriptions and equations.
System module information can be saved in a external file (*.mdl) via
the System Model Screen
or the System GUI Screen for use in future analyses.
Module Files can also be listed in a
Module Library. A Module Library stores Module File information in a
central database that provides a link for accessing Module Files and
updating Module File information. The
Module Library Update screen
provides several features and functions relating to selecting or
creating a Module Library database, accessing Module Files and
updating Module Library database information. The module library
access and module library update screens are accessed
from either the System Model Screen or the System GUI Screen.
The lower portion of the Module
Library Access screen contains Module File information for the module
highlighted in the System Modules Table. The elements are:
Module File Name
The file name (without the file path) of the Module File for the
module highlighted in the System Modules Table.
File Location
The file path of the Module File for the module highlighted in the
System Modules Table.
Default Location
The default file path for Module Files of the current Module Library.
Module File Location Management
A module file can reside anywhere on a computer workstation or
network. However, it is recommended that Module Files be stored at a
common "default" location. There are eight Module File Location
Management functions:
Change
Clicking the Change button opens a folder selection dialog for
changing the location of a Module File for the module currently
selected on the System Modules Table. When the new location is
selected from the dialog, then the file is moved and its location is
changed in the Module Library database.
Copy to Default
Clicking this button copies the Module File for the module currently
selected on the System Modules Table to the Default location. This
does not change the location of the Module File in the Module Library
database.
Move to Default
Clicking this button moves the Module File for the module currently
selected on the System Modules Table to the Default location. This
also changes the location of the Module File in the Module Library
database.
Set as Default
Clicking this button sets the Default location for Module Files to the
location of the Module File currently selected on the System Modules
Table.
New Default
Clicking this button opens a folder selection dialog for changing the
Default location of Module Files. To change the Default location,
select the new location from the dialog and click OK.
Set All
to Default
Clicking this button sets all Module Files shown in the System
Modules Table to the Default location without moving the files. This
allows you to copy Module Files to a desired location, establish that
location as the Default location using the New Default action
described above, and then set the file locations in the Module Library
to the new Default location.
Copy All to Default
Clicking this button copies all Module Files shown in the System
Modules Table to the Default location without moving the files. This
action does not change the Module File locations in the Module
Library.
Move All to Default
Clicking this button moves all Module Files shown in the System
Modules Table to the Default location. |
