Analysis
Description Features
The Analysis Description Screen allows you to enter formatted
measurement uncertainty analysis information, complete with graphics, for future reference. Guidelines,
procedures, equipment used, bias distribution plots, Pareto charts, analysis
notes and reports, and the purpose of the measurement uncertainty analysis can all be included.
The Analysis Description screen can essentially
be used like a word processing document where key information about your
measurement uncertainty analysis may be entered from
the keyboard, inserted from external applications, inserted from within UncertaintyAnalyzer, pasted from the Windows clipboard or added by dragging
and dropping from your favorite word processor, spreadsheet or other tool of
choice.
Analysis Descriptions are
automatically saved as part of the analysis files and can also be saved as
external rich text format (RTF) or html format files. Consequently, in
addition to providing an on-screen reference that describes the particulars of
an uncertainty analysis, Analysis Descriptions files can be opened and edited
in Microsoft WordPad or any other applications that support RTF files.
The left side of the Analysis Description Screen also provides a list of Notes
Pages for all major uncertainty analysis screens and worksheets. This hyperlinked
list provides quick access to the notes pages and makes it easy to copy
selected portions of these pages directly into the Analysis Description
Screen.
