An Import Configuration is a stored set of parameters that relate to a desired Import Profile.  Each configuration includes identifying information for the external source of the data to be imported and information linking External Data File field names with field names used by IntervalMAX.  Import Configurations are managed from the Import Configuration Screen, which is accessed by selecting the Import History Records option on the File menu on the Main Screen.

Import Configurations are created and updated via the Edit Import Profile Screen, which is accessed by clicking the New button or by selecting the configuration on the Profiles list and clicking the Edit button.

 
A new Import Configuration can be created from an existing one by selecting the existing configuration on the Profiles list and clicking  the Clone button. This opens the Edit Import Profile Screen with a blank Profile Name but with all other entries the same as the selected configuration. 

An existing Import Configuration is deleted by selecting the configuration on the Profiles list and clicking the Delete button.   New Import Configurations or changes to existing Import Configurations are written to the database by clicking the OK Button.  Changes can be canceled by clicking the Close button.
